Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc., located in El Dorado Hills, California, is seeking qualified personnel for the position of stormwater manager. Our small family-owned business, which is nestled in the beautiful golden foothills of El Dorado County and surrounded by wine country, has been combining our construction experience with practical stormwater solutions since 1984. As a company, we take pride in our low employee turnover and our community involvement in this family-oriented suburb of Sacramento.

Youngdahl is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, qualified SWPPP practitioner (QSP), with knowledge of the industry, technical expertise and support our clientele. Strong organizational, verbal and written communication are desired.

​

Applicants without the CESSWI and QSP certifications will be considered if they meet the minimum education/experience requirements and commit to obtaining their certification within 90 days of hire. Youngdahl will provide the required 2-day QSP training course at no cost to the selected applicant and reimburses employees for the certification costs.

Responsibilities will include:

​

• Performing stormwater inspections as required by the Construction General Permit

• Implementation of SWPPP plans

• Informing superintendents/contractors of BMP deficiencies

• Stormwater sampling and analysis (pH and turbidity)

• Management of private, commercial and municipal clients

• Project Management

• Regulatory Interface

• Permit Support

• Proficient with computers and office software

  • Preferred: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Earth, Web-based Programs

Required qualifications:

​

• Current CESSWI/QSP certifications (preferred)

• Understanding of state and federal regulations

• Valid California Driver’s License

• Musty be able to pass a background check
