  Laboratory Testing Services

Youngdahl Consulting Group's laboratory can test to determine physical characteristics, indices, classifications, engineering properties of soil and rock, and construction materials such as concrete, aggregate, and asphalt.  Our laboratory - DSA Approved (LEA No. 13), CCRL and AMRL assessed, and AASHTO accredited - uses computerized data acquisition systems to efficiently collect and reduce test data.  These systems reduce the risk of operator or computational error and provide plots and tabulation of results for clients.  Our fully trained laboratory staff is completely familiar with and performs their duties in accordance to industry standards such as ASTM, AASHTO, Caltrans, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
