Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc.’s services on the project involved project coordination between several entities and performing a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment that was more comprehensive than the ASTM E1427-05 standard.

| LAND TRUST/LAND PRESERVATION |

Taylor Ranch, Bell Road, Auburn, CA
Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc. was retained to provide environmental services for the proposed Taylor Ranch Preserve. The project included a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and a Limited Soil Investigation at a former gold mine on the property. During the site visit, a mine shaft and tailings pile were observed. A soil investigation was conducted that included sampling of the tailings pile for arsenic and mercury. No elevated concentrations were identified. The completion of the Phase I ESA and soil investigation facilitated acquisition of the property from private landowners to The Placer Land Trust for preservation.

Green Valley Road, Rescue, CA
Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc. was retained to provide environmental services for investigating aerially deposited lead along Green Valley Road in Rescue, California. The project included the collection and analysis of soil samples to evaluate if elevated concentrations of lead were present in the proposed sidewalk construction area. This project was conducted in coordination with the El Dorado County Department of Transportation and Caltrans.

Los Rios Community College, West Sacramento, CA
Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc.’s services on the project involved conducting a soil vapor survey to evaluate if nearby dry cleaners had impacted the subsurface condition of the proposed university campus site. This project is located in an area where several dry cleaning businesses historically operated. Coordination with the State of California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region resulted in an understanding of the extent of contamination due to historic dry cleaning solvent releases in the area. The college site was investigated and elevated concentrations of solvents in soil gas were not identified. |

Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc.’s services on the project involved performing a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and a limited soil investigation at an historic gold mine on the property. During the Phase I ESA of the property, historical interviews conducted with Mr. Euer identified the existence of an historical gold mine on the subject property.
